Lens Notes:

Lens Description:

Introduced in 1963, the Asahi Super-Takumar 105mm F/2.8 represents vintage optical engineering at its finest. The 105mm, f/2.8 M42-mount lens employs a 5 elements in 4 groups (Heliar) formula — valued for smooth, almost three-dimensional rendering — and features 6 diaphragm blades for refined bokeh. At 290g it is a moderately sized companion, accepts 49mm screw-in filters. I have personally used and tested this lens.
